Tonalic gone is Studio Pro 8.1

Hi I was surprised (and not surprised) to discover that when I 'upgraded' to Studio Pro 8.1 from 8.0 all my Tonalic stuff including the plug in and ARA connection are all gone. Was unable to reinstall and things I created will not play (other than things that I bounced). How do I get this all back?

Probably a registration issue. I don't have Tonalic but I had a similar problem with Omnisphere 2 who won't output any sound anymore until I redid the challenge-response re-registration. (Was also slightly surprised because it didn't happen with any v6 updates.)

Thanks..I thought that too. an AI search revealed the below, but this cant be right either because I was able to restore Tonalic using some weird jujitsu, but some of the previously saved Tonalic 'clips' wont play..some will. I reached out to Tonalic and will try and update this if I hear back . But I;m gonna bounce anything Tonalics that I might create

Tonalic has been removed as a native integration in Fender Studio 8.1, which instead features new native integrations like the Vocal Tune plugin, Studio Assistant, and Moises AI.

Strange. I'm on Win11 Pro and SP 8.1. I have Tonalic Studio. The button for Tonalic is still in the right side browser's toolbar and still selects Tonalic, which works the same as it did in 8.0x.

This is strange, but I have Tonalic running again as before. It went away precisely when I upgraded to Studio Pro 8.1 and then I got that strange AI message when I did a search. What I had to do was reinstall the Tonalic app. Run it in Standalone mode. Open Studio Pro and rescan presets and everything Tonalic reappeared. I;m on a Win 11 workstation running June update.

I just attempted to open Tonalic by dragging and dropping, but Tonalic doesn't appear as a VST any longer. To drag and drop it onto a session, I need to open Studio One Pro's Plugin Manager, locate it, then drag and drop it from there. It works as it did before. Anyone else have this issue?

Got this from Tonalic support:
"This is Rich at Celemony Customer Support for Tonalic. Thanks for reaching out. We are sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with Tonalic.
This appears to be a deeper issue in the latest release of Fender Studio Pro. Until a new version of Studio Pro is released, there is a workaround:
Customers can still access Tonalic Instrument by opening the Add Tracks dialogue using the T key command, select Instrument as track type, and then Tonalic Instrument from the drop-down menu under Output > New Instrument."

This worked yesterday, but when I tried it today, I couldn't make Tonalic show up in the drop-down menu as a new instrument :(

Finn, Received the same email from Tonalic Support. Tried and it worked. Hopefully they will correct this back to the way it was prior to the update. My email stated it was, "...by design in the latest release of Fender Studio Pro, and a choice made by Fender." Hope enough people request it changed back that they will reconsider their decision.

I'll venture a guess that Fender tried to muscle Celemony into a bigger cut of the new user conversion payment and Celemony told them to pound sand. So, Fender threw a hissy fit and made it more difficult to use Tonalic.
