Released in September 2025.
This is an instrumental song I wrote for my recently released all instrumental album, "Pleasant Memories." The album is a "Study Beat", "Chillout" album. It's doing AMAZINGLY well on the streaming services and is being played at some local spas as well.

Nice Midiboy. Beautiful piano melody.
Loved when the dog came in. This is a special place where hearts are woven, and memories are not forgotten.

If I could creek open the door on one little poinrt, (hope that's ok), I'd place the drums just a little further back in the mix.

But its your tune my friend, and I found the little lake is a tranquil one.

Very nice!! Chillout for sure. Very relaxing. I agree with lokeyfly. The rim shot / drums is slightly distracting
and for me takes away somewhat from your Chillout Piano playing. Great song
and mastering / mixing!! 🎹 🖖

Thanks. I appreciate it. Always open to comments, but this song is released globally already. Can't really make the change. But yeah, there are always things I want to change even after release. It is the curse of releasing music. lol.

EDIT: Oh you know what? I did think the same thing...the album release, I applied some different EQ to the drums and turned them down. I remembered that I did make changes, and didn't remember which version was up on YouTube.

If you want to hear the album release version, it's on all the streaming services under Gregg Hart / Pleasant Memories.

I agree with Lokefly on the drums, but I enjoyed the peace and serenity the tune brings. Lowers the blood pressure for sure.

:)JB

Midiboy stated on the Album he turned down the drums. I listened to it, turning down the drums did indeed help 🥁🖖

I can understand why it's doing well on the streaming services. It's more interesting (and - thank you! - less "precious") than most of what used to be called "new age," but delivers the intended feeling of chill/peacefulness.

Although I don't have a comment about this particular song, if it's similar to other music you do, you might want to check out whether hand percussion would complement your musical style.
