Tempo track issues

Hello again,

Seems there are times where I can not remove a tempo track keyframe. Especially in the sketch pad, it just gets stuck and no matter what I try I can't remove them. Any one else experience this and have a solution?

Thanks!

Are you referring to the Scratch Pad?
Post the steps to reproduce the issue and I'll try to confirm on my system.

Please update your signature (see link and example in mine) with your system specs.
That information is helpful for responses to your issues or questions in the Forum.

Thanks! Updated my signature. So if you go into a sketch pad and record a little midi. Place your timeline marker ahead of 0, a few bars. Set a new bpm using the Tempo input at the bottom of the Gui. Now open the Tempo section up top, should be a keyframe set now. What happened on my end is that I changed the tempo below on the gui a few times, in a few different places. And when trying to remove those I ran into a few of them that would not let me delete them.

However, I think the solve is if you're in a sketch pad, change the tempo using the input in the top section instead. I'm not 100% certain but I think this is only happening to me in the sketchpad area.

Hi, qbello,
Works fine here. However Im running v7.2.0

To clear up what may be your issue.....
Especially in the sketch pad, it just gets stuck and no matter what I try I can't remove them.
Can't remove them as in Tempo changes? First, the sketch pad is no different than the arrangement view as far as tempo mapping goes. Think of the sketchpad pad as a region behind your song. When you open the Tempo Map, the Tempo Map displays in the exact same way on the sketchpad as it does the arrangement view.
First, lower the tempo map far down so that you have a clear view of the tempo differences.
To remove a region where a tempos change, you can either select a node [keyswitch], right click on that node, and select delete. If you have many nodes, for example that you drew with the pencil tool, then highlight the area, so the nodes illuminate, right click, & select delete.
Any one else experience this and have a solution?

No, not on any previous version of Studio One, I've seen.

if you're still having an issue, video capture it so that we can have a better look at what you're seeing. Thanks.

Use the upper area (Tempo Map). There should be no difference between the sketchpad and the arrangement view.

The tempo setting in the GUI is the main and starting tempo for the song.
Use the Tempo Track (at the top) for inserting any additional changes to tempo.

I'm running Studio One Pro 7.2.2 with Windows 11 (24H2) and not having any problems deleting any tempo changes anywhere in the Tempo Track.
