Solved Syntronic 2 Problem

Hi everyone, I have a very strange problem with Syntronic 2 from IK Multimedia.
When I drag the icon from the instruments window into the edit window to open the instrument, nothing happens, not even a freeze of studio one, nothing.
I checked in the vst settings, I updated the vsti and Syntronic 2, but there is no error.
I also use Modo Bass2 a lot and it has no problem, it opens without any problems after being inserted into the edit window.
Is there anyone else with this problem?
Can you help me?
Thanks

I'm on Windows 11 Pro and the latest versions of Studio One 7 and Syntronik 2 MAX. In a new song, I dragged in the VST3 version of Syntronik 2, creating Instrument Track 1, and the VST2.4 version creating Instrument Track 2. Both instantiated properly.

Do you have Syntronik 2 pointing at the correct library directory? Can you properly open the standalone version of Syntronik 2? If you can, click of the cog (settings) icon and then the Library tab, and verify that the content directory is correct. For me, it is on an external SSD at:

E:\IK Multimedia\SampleTank 4

and all of the Syntronik content is in the E:\IK Multimedia\SampleTank 4\Instruments folder.

I had some issues when upgrading from v1 to v2 with some content in E:\IK Multimedia\SampleTank 3 and some in E:\IK Multimedia\SampleTank 4. Initially, I just added both paths to the Library tab, but eventually manually some of the older Syntronik 1 content from the ST3 Instruments folder to the ST4 Instruments folder.

May not help at all, but worth checking.

Thanks for the reply.
I checked and everything is fine.
The proof is that Modo Bass 2 has the same path as Syntronic 2 Max and I only work with VSTI3 all in the Common Files\Vst 3 folder on windows.
I have several instruments of different brands and they work perfectly.
It's a real mystery

I have an update on the problem.
Studio One unlike the other DAW I use shows Syntronik 2 as version 2.11 and not the recently updated 2.13.
It's as if it doesn't see the file being scanned.
I will send a support request because the problem is only with Studio One Pro

This made me curious. I checked my install and SO shows v2.13. That version is installed in the new (stupid, IMO) Steinberg-defined folder structure under Common\VST3 that has ".VST3" in the folder name, with the actual plugin buried a couple/three folders deeper. Is it possible that the older version (v2.11) is still installed and in the Common\VST3 folder?

SO doesn't differentiate between types (VST2 vs. VST3) in the Instrument name. You have to click on the name and check the info block below to see which is which. Even if SO has a setting for only showing the VST3 if one exists, I wouldn't use it. Some VST3's don't work in some situations, so you have to use the older VST2 instead.

hello thanks for the reply, I finally solved it, I noticed that in the vst 3 folder there was a dll file of version 2.11, but it's strange because I never installed anything outside the Syntronik 2 folder.
I deleted that file and it canceled all the vst settings and then redid the full scan.
Now SO recognizes the latest version and opens Syntronik 2 correctly.
However I don't understand why it hasn't always done it but only since the last OS upgrade.
Greetings
