I found that, after the September Win11 updates, upon closing SP8, the active icon would remain in the taskbar with online animation until I restarted Explorer.
Experimentation led me to believe that if I disabled ARA either during program launch or during loading a session, the issue didn't exist.
I went into the "Installed" list in the installation menu and found that I had not claimed Melodyne Essentials under V8 (as I had in V7), so after claiming and restarting the application, the problem has seemingly solved itself. Just FYI as a possible solution for anyone else.
