Studio Pro getting worse on my Mac Studio

I’ve been struggling with Fender Studio Pro (FS Pro) since it came out (converted from Studio One) on my Mac Studio Pro. I run small home projects with 10 to 15 tracks, usually 3 keyboard plug ins, and use FS Pro and UA plug ins. My computers runs at less than 10%, so it’s basically just idling. The issues come when editing basic midi tracks and recording audio while midi tracks are playing. Running bad for me is, transport stops working or becomes spotty and jittery, duplicating track clips is delayed and jumpy, latency changes throughout sessions, FS Pro crashes, more… I’m to the point of dumping FS Pro and moving on to logic. I have tried all the popular fixes including reloading a fresh copy of FS Pro, all plug ins, freezing tracks and every trick in the book. I moved from Cakewalk to S 1 version 3 and have used it since. Is there anything folks are doing to use FS Pro on new Mac like my Studio Pro

You need to put your details about systems and OS and computer data in your signature so people can see what issues may be caused by your setup.

My system specs. Mac Studio, M4 Max Chip, 32 GB Ram, Tahoe Version 26.5.2, Fender Studio Pro version 8.1.1.113103, Melodyne 5 Sudio, Superior Drummer 3, EZ Bass, EZ Keys 2, Kontact 8, Universal Audio Volt 476 interface. I utilize external hard drives for audio and samples 2 X 2TB drives. UA Native Plug ins, no amps sims

Are you using AU plugins?

VP

Yes exclusively
Consider running VST3 in Studio Pro.

AU is not extensively tested nor recommended for use in SP on Mac.

AU plugins are largely tested by vendors in Logic only and rarely in any other DAW

Conversely - VST3 is battle tested by every vendor on every DAW.

I was using VST3 when I first got the Mac, I transitioned to AU in an attempt to resolve this issue. I’ll try it again and see if there is any relief.

I had to make sure Not to use AU plugs are they were giving me plenty of grief. Once I stepped away from
them things resolved themselves ✌️ 🖖
