IS anyone else finding that even with the name change, it doesn't follow along for the tracks? If I click a track in the daw, it doesn't jump to that track on the UF8? Anyone else? I just put the app in a folder called Studio One 7 on mac?

It's working as expected for me. Tracks are followed when I select them from the UF8 and the DAW.

System details are in my signature. I just renamed the app to "Studio One".

According to the link a couple of messages up, try naming your folder on the Mac "Studio One" instead of "Studio One 7."

BUT - In the meantime, I wanted to share an enhancement request I made with the guys over at SSL.

I have the UF1/UC1/UF8.

On the UF1, I HATE how the Focus mode is on a stepped rotary knob (channel). Focus mode is super useful, but I need it to be more precise. Often, I have to go in a tweak the knob with the mouse, because it jumps too far.
WELL... there is a great big scrub wheel that is much more precise!
So I asked if they can make an option to use that knob for focus mode.
If you like that idea, please email them!

There is a dedicated script for the UF-1 and Studio One, referred to here. I don't know whether it addresses your specific issue, but you may be able to contact the author and request it. Similar functionality is given to the Icon P-1M/V-1M by Paul Henty's scripts, so I'm sure it can be done.

Oh, you misunderstand. This wouldn't be for just studio One (pro), but for all DAWs.

Instead of stepped changes using the channel knob in focus mode, continuous changes using the big scrub knob while in focus mode. If I was programming it, I would also make it have a sensitivity setting in 360. Or velocity based sensitivity. That would be AWESOME!
