Studio Pro 8 freezing on Save Session to New Folder

RRR Studio

Thanks to the mods for deleting my entire previous comment and dismissing it with "Start a new thread" so I have to do this all over again.

Studio Pro 8 has been unstable since the first update to Studio Pro 8. I cannot get a response out of Fender support. I do have an open ticket.
Today's issue: I cannot simply "Save Session to a New Folder" without Studio Pro 8 freezing. I've been messing with ridiculously inconvenient workarounds all morning simply trying to export a session with 57 WAV files and levels and panning.

In the process of trying to do that I've discovered that no matter what settings I select, Studio Pro is exporting 100% of my files as stereo- even the mono ones. I can find NO workaround that prevents this.

If someone who actually works for Fender could address my issues I would appreciate it. I realize this is an independent forum, but I'm just trying to find anyone i support that can suggest a solution. Thank you.

Per Lukas' request:
Studio Pro 8 (latest Jun 9th version - I don't have the nomenclature).
Windows 11
i5 12400 32GB SDRR4, 1T SSD

You do not mention the exact Studio Pro version you're using or any of the specs asked. Could you please clarify?

I haven't seen any issues regarding saving sessions to a new folder. Does this happen only with this specific session or with other sessions, too?

If you just choose File → "Save as" and save the session in a new folder, does this work? If so, when you go to the Pool in the Browser and choose "Copy External Files", does this work?

I do this exact process like 20 times a week - WITH gobs of mono files (I do pro voiceover) and have never had an issue.

Also can guarantee that "Save Session to a New Folder" - does just that - saves everything to a new folder.

It does not re-render mono to stereo or touch any actual file at all. I do this so often that if there were any oddball file conversion going on - you would have heard me screaming years ago.

There must be something else going on with the OPs setup over there....

My system specs are in the message body itself. I don't know how to set up a signature.

I do this all the time as well. But not this morning. And the new update did not solve anything.

And the new update did not solve anything.

Well - no one said the new update had anything to do with your issue.

First step is to find out exactly what you are doing. Step by step - exactly.

Well, thanks so much you have been very helpful with my issue :)

Can't help you if you won't share anything. Or give session specs. Or plugin types. Or what you are actually clicking on etc.

?? My session specs are in the thread (and now in my signature per Lukas request). There are NO plugins on the mix as I said in the OP. It is 57 tracks and I've adjusted the volume and panning with the mixer. When I select "Save Session to New Folder" the DAW freezes. That is a recap of what I've already said.

My second issue was in trying to find a workaround- I can't preserve the stereo mode of my tracks when exporting either. Regardless of settings in the export menu- I get all stereo files in the export. Mono tracks are converted. It doesn't matter if I select "split mono" or "keep speaker format" all the files exported are converted to stereo.

Not "system" specs - session specs. What is in this session? Where are you saving to?

And why you exporting? I simply click File->Save to New Folder...and it's done - in one second. No file is touched, re-exported or altered.

Apologies - but it sounds like you are doing something else entirely here.

Regarding the export to new folder, I do it all the time so the issue is almost certainly system-specific.

Try exporting to the C: drive. If Studio Pro freezes, reboot and try exporting to an external drive. Does the same behavior occur?
