Unfortunately it didn't work on V8 for me. It cutes the sound off after the fade...You have to press this little yellow buttton in the event inspector:View attachment 2891

Hhmm, I‘m sorry to hear that. I dont know what else you could try thenUnfortunately it didn't work on V8 for me. It cutes the sound off after the fade...![]()
I did.Have you reported it to support? Has anyone reported it?
The guitar stuff amounts to plug-ins that you are not required to use.I wrote directly to the CEO of Fender to express my opinion. I told him that I am physically disabled and am not able toplay a guitar and that I just spent a lot of money to upgrade to PreSonus Studio One 7 PRO and I purchased an ATOM SQ. I also told him that if they mess with Studio One too much and they end up having too much guitar stuff getting in my way, then I would personally deliver my ATOM SQ to his office and set it on his desk and let him keep it! (No refund required!) and I would just go back to Reaper!
That's showing him! And.... and.... he gets to keep your Atom SQ as well! That no good... dirty.... &ast@rd.I wrote directly to the CEO of Fender to express my opinion. My point is, it is very typical that when one company buys another, they start screwing with the original product that was working just fine and eventually it stops working to the satisfaction of many of the original loyal customers who end up with a product that they don't want! To me, I feel that Studio One as we know it is going to simply die a slow death into something completely different (NOT better!) That is because Fender is more into guitars where PreSonus was into sound mixing. From what I can see by a few reviews, Fender is already having MAJOR problems with PRO 8. As I said, when you start messing with something good you end up not just screwing over your customers but yourself as a company and everyone loses! I see Fender abandoning Studio One in the next 2-3 years...The guitar stuff amounts to plug-ins that you are not required to use.
Very cool! I've been making an effort these past few days to dig into SP's native instruments and fx plugins. Coincidentally, I also used both Cinematic Lights and Deep Flight One today for some atmosphere/ambience for a sci-fi trailer track. I layered Deep Flight One, Cinematic Lights, and a couple layers of my violin (with some processing and for some organic texture) and am quite happy with the result. I appreciated how quickly it came together too. Usually, I do sound design separate from writing... I've learned over time that I'm better off doing sound design in a separate session rather than trying to craft sounds while writing...I get totally lost otherwise.Speaking of why people may or may not move into other DAW's, I thought this was a good time to compliment Studio One's own Cinematic Lights (or was it Deep Flight One). Previously, I've been downright hard on stating those instrumemts are nearly useless, but I added a modified preset, and made many adjustments including the core samples, & envelopes, and I did in fact get a real usable intro and outro ambience to a song I wrote last night. So, I'd like to change my position about those two instruments. Its always going to come down to seek and you shall find. Scroll through presets and you'll largely come up empty. Work at it, and you might be rewarded.
Huh! What do you know, something called work at it. Hear that AI groupies?
Anyway, love-peace, out.

Completely. And I think you get a better product from towards each that way. Sometimes I'll dedicate a session to sound design. That might be with Pigments (now version 7 and of course free). It's so deep, and if I'm sculpting something that is ambient, a drone, or pads, its just going to get the right attention. Just wear the hat for the job at hand. Sometimes even writing and designing can work if you're reaching for the right levers or vibe.I layered Deep Flight One, Cinematic Lights, and a couple layers of my violin (with some processing and for some organic texture) and am quite happy with the result. Yes, the layering layout for Deep Flight One, and Cinematic Lights are very clear, allow for some XY positioning, and sample alternatives for each layer. For a bundled DAW instrument, they make for useful timbres if they're sought out. I've said this before, and even in the case of Studio One's own sample library, the library is quite useful. Again, its a matter of seek and you shall find. I'm very big on layering as well. Be it Impact, or any sampler in general. It simply produces those believable (or cool) overtones. The GUI of these instruments works well for me... important parameters stand out, easy to automate, and in particular I like having sound layers to blend within the instrument on the front page as a starting point, then going deeper to tweak each sound individually. It felt intuitive...likely because I like to use instruments that have that layer feature.
Keep it up. Id like to hear the results all in good time...off the top of my head, Heavyocity's Mosaic series, or zero-g ethera gold come to mind...so the instruments felt familiar.
I think I'll be reaching for them more often!

And, I also saw in a report:
Forum discussions reveal this anxiety: "I just read that Fender has entered into an agreement to purchase PreSonus. As one that was left orphaned when Gibson bailed on Cakewalk and...". Another user noted: "I switched to Studio One after Sonar went under—what could possibly happen next?".
"While Fender acquired PreSonus in 2021—over four years before the rebranding—the sudden name change and technical problems revive these fears. Users worry that Fender views the DAW primarily as a value-add for selling interfaces and controllers rather than as a standalone professional software product worthy of sustained investment."
I'm sorry, but this is just scaremongering. It's been 5 years since Fender merged with PreSonus, and the DAW has continuously developed since then. Not necessarily to everyone's satisfaction, but that's just life. SP8 is working very well for most users, though there are bugs for some which will no doubt be hotfixed very soon. In the meantime, no-one has lost access to S1 v7. SP8 has brought some interesting new features which add to the DAW; nothing has been taken away. But if you want to throw your teddies out of your cot and give your Atom away, I'm sure there are more deserving recipients than the brand new CEO.My point is, it is very typical that when one company buys another, they start screwing with the original product that was working just fine and eventually it stops working to the satisfaction of many of the original loyal customers who end up with a product that they don't want! But can be useful if you did choose to use them...The guitar stuff amounts to plug-ins that you are not required to use.
I checked it now.HI,
Not sure if this has been mentioned - The automation is not rendering during mixdown. Just joined the party
Mine does not work at all when renderingI checked it now.
Automation is working.
Created a wave file.
All the automation that was in the project has been preserved.
Same here. Noticed it with some vst-instruments. Playback works but rendering ignores automation. Also realtime rendering didn't work.Mine does not work at all when rendering
