Unfortunately, I won't be buying a Motion controller. I simply have no place to put it. Sigh. But I am happy to see the fix for Tonalic.

Great to see these more frequent updates! Thanks!

I'm considering a Motion to replace my SQ.

No updates on the ALT issue that we've been reporting weeks ago. I think that should have been a priority, so I can't hide my disappointment.

I disliked the SQ in many things but Motion 32 is the thing i really fell in love with. The SQ was confusing in many respects—the layout was hard to follow, and everything felt convoluted. To make matters worse, the display on mine broke after less than 12 months. Amazon gave me a full refund, so I bought the Motion 32 instead; it seems the developers must have realized the same flaws that bothered me about the SQ. The Motion 32 is so intuitive that you’ll love it and find your way around it immediately.

How is it that you fell in love with the Motion 32; I thought it wasn't available yet.

I also had the SQ and ended up never using it.

Oh I ordered mine at Thomann on 09.June 2026. Thomann is a big Brand here in Germany and a bit like Amazon for Musicans i think best to described. The Order was a bit delayed and after running into a problem with having my package from DHL redirected to a local shop/ Convenience store (KIOSK in german)—a common practice here in Hamburg and often a better option than a parcel locker, since hardly any of the drivers speak German anymore and unfortunately tend to cause chaos—because the shop owners were away on vacation, I didn't receive the Motion until June 31st. After nearly two weeks with it i can say i really love this piece. But to be honest i fell in love with in the first evening. You gonna love it for sure.

Oh how interesting. Questions for you if you don't mind:

How effective is the layout of the keyboard at representing a regular keyboard (black vs white notes etc)?

What do you primarily use it for?
