Ok, This is a weird one. I had a similar issue on a PC a few years ago but didn't look into it and wiped the computer. Now I'm having it on a 2-month old Mac Studio M4Pro Max running Sequoia. I'm not wiping this one.
If I open a song that contains a VST from Arturia's V-Collection, the program will crash. If I go back into program and open the same song, it opens normally.
Fender Studio Pro does the same thing. It is not just one song, any song that has an Arturia instrument. This started about 3 weeks ago, all was working properly before that. I am only using VST3s. I am in the final stages of a project, having the DAW crash every time I change songs is driving me crazy(er).
This is not happening in Ableton. I used my preview with Logic, I may reach out to Apple and plead with them to give me another to see if it is happening there.
I have uninstalled/reinstalled the VSTs from Arturia.
I have done a 'Remove Plugin Settings'.
Nothing in the Block List.
I opened a ticket with Fender, but given the US holiday I don't expect a response for a few days. Contacting Arturia is usually hopeless endeavor.
Thanks for any suggestions you may have,
Lou
