Studio One Pro 7: Is there a way to copy an Arranger Track section without copying or moving the events underneath it?

I use color-coded Arranger sections such as Verse and Chorus. I’d like to duplicate an existing section header so the copy keeps the same name/color, then place it elsewhere in the song, while leaving all tracks, events, automation, etc. underneath completely unchanged.

I know ordinary dragging/copying an Arranger section affects the song material below it, and I know there’s a modifier for moving only the Arranger section itself. Is there an equivalent way to copy/duplicate only the Arranger section header?

My main goal is to avoid having to manually recreate the same section color each time.

Thanks!

I don't think you can copy just the headers, but copying a colour and renaming multiple existing sections is possible:
  1. Click the header of the arranger track (where it says 'Arranger') and open the Inspector (F4) to see the list of arranger sections
  2. In the list click the first section of which you want to copy the colour (note that the Color Selector below the list shows its colour and name)
  3. Shift-click the other sections you want to have the same colour (and name)
  4. Click the coloured patch of the Color Selector to confirm the colour for all selected sections and hit Enter
  5. Double-click the section name next to the Color Selector, type a new name and hit Enter
It has to be a new name though, so maybe after the double-clicking do a Ctrl-C, shift-click the first selected section to deselect it, do the double-click again (now on the name of the second previously selected section), Ctrl-V and Enter. Or simply do 5. twice.

Another option would be a command that is part of Pro Navigator.

It allows you to create arranger sections with a name and a color from a button or shortcuts.

The quickest for me is to create one section the full length of the song. Then use the slice tool to cut it up. This does NOT slice the events beneath the arranger track if you click on the arranger track.
