Weird that it goes from this:

To this (after clicking on Install I item):

I'm caught in a loop.

Anyway, I *think* it's installed but perhaps not activated... not sure what to do.

Click on the "Installed Content" tab to check the "Active" status...

So I have it running, but how do you load a preset? There doesn't seem to be any:

It is activated apparently.

Might be a preset issue... e.g. file location???

Have you quit and restarted Studio One since installing Sub Zero Bass?

Do the Sub Zero Bass presets show up here?

If not, right click and select "Refresh".

Many times.

It's so bugged at this point.

I've un-installed Subzero.

Then tried to re-install it (and yes, re-starts inbetween) but it refuses to download it. It's like it thinks it's already downloaded because the download button simply turns into "install from file".

I'm at my wits end. It shouldn't be this hard.

Anyway, I've spent hours on this at this point, I've submitted a ticket to Presonus.

Please update your SIGNATURE (see link and example in mine) with your system specs.

Done!

Been using Studio One for many years - even I had to check this guide to installing Sub Bass - very useful post from Trucky - not surprised others have problems at first. Thanks Trucky.

I dragged the file into Studio One 7.2. However, when I go to activate it, SZB does not show. I tried to reinstall and it said all ready installed. Look at the list of plugins and it does not show. Any ideas. Thanks.

Thanks for the tip on sub zero. As a perpetual license user, I needed to click on Studio One 7 in my products page to find it, as it didn't appear in "all".

Everything is running smooth on my windows 11 PC. However, I have had several crashes when dragging a wav file into the arrange view. When that happens, S1 is still running but I can only play/pause the arrangement, and am unable to load new instruments, or edit existing instruments and respective midi.

I have also encountered times in the arrange view when I click on a midi clip to edit in in the piano roll, and the piano roll opens with no midi. To work around, I click on another clip, then back to the intended clip and the midi appears.

Not sure why this happens, but overall I appreciate the update and continue to use studio one. Big fan!

I'm still not able to use Sub Zero. For some reason my system doesn't like the soundset file. The file access is denied resulting in the installation not being to find the file. Tried deleting the file, re-downloading, moving it to another drive, all to no avail.

Presonus tech support is now involved.

Check the Sound Sets location settings, available drive space and permissions (your "Access is denied" error).

Here's what I have...

That was it! While my Studio One soundsets location was fine, the 'All Applications' was not. I reset that and the soundset installed fine.

THANK YOU, TRUCKY!

1. I followed the instructions, the file downloaded and I dragged it into S7.2
2. I is not listed in the VST controll page, all the other VSTs are.
3. I thought the install might be bad and tried a reinstall, I get the message Sub Zero Bass already installed. Yet it does not show in the plug in manager nor the
4. When I go to the installed activated items it does not show.

Solved.

Same problem here. Sub Zero does not show up for me to install.
Make sure you download both the installer and Sound set from Presonous. Then when you start the installer you will see the Sub Zero Base sounds "disappear", and when you start Studio One it will be there.

Welcome to the Forum!

Post screenshots that show what you're seeing that's different than all the detailed installation steps and screenshots I posted to the thread.
Please update your SIGNATURE (see link and example in mine) with your system specs.
It's difficult for us to know why the installation is not working for you without more details.
