Studio One hangs after sleep mode (MacBook Pro M5)

So each time after I wake the Mac's screen when it turned off due to inactivity, Studio one hangs. I just see the beachball mouse pointer spinning

In Windows this can be caused by devices not waking properly. Maybe you have USB ports that aren't staying active ...

Letting your Mac sleep while a DAW is open is generally not supported. I'm not clear what the official position is with FSP, but it's just asking for trouble.
Screen sleep only should be fine, but it's hard to tell if that's the only thing which is actually sleeping.
