Studio One 7 won't play back (on going issue for years)

If I leave a project that includes Dreamtonic's SynthV idling for a few hours, this happens to me.

Hmm, im just opening a session 20 audio tracks few plugins and it does it to me .. i am using auto allign 2 on the drums
studio one is so annoyingly close to being a great daw

No, I am not seeing this here. Apparently it's not exactly a widespread issue, which makes it very hard to pinpoint a cause if all the test systems are not showing this. I'm sure you can understand that and maybe you are willing to help solve this by providing all teh information you can think of, even if you think it is irrelevant. Sometimes a new graphics driver can cause problems in audio playback, and sometimes simply connecting a keyboard can cause a button to keep switching on.
