Studio One 7 Perpetual Liscense does not work after plus subscribtion expired

This is horrible, unexpected, and preditory... There is no reason why my perpetual liscense should have disappeared preventing access to DAW. I had no idea about Fender Studio upgrade to Version 8, and or why that should matter as I did not want it. I enjoy the software however, these types of things tend to steer my to use something else. Please help me resolve this issue.

Does the Studio One 7 not open up any more? That is what the perpetual licence means - you keep the version you have with no upgrades/updates.

My point exactly... Studio One 7 does not even open. I could understand if the add-ons did not work however not the entire program.

Resolved. Per the tech, the isssue is that when initially bundled the information goes to the server as one thing, i.e. the plus stuff is linked with the perpetual portion of the program to the point that when the plus portion expires within their server the perpetual portion is also blocked. I submitted that this way of incorporating is in the least backwards and should be reviewed to illiminate issues such as this. The tech reported that this concern would be passed on.

Tech also noted that I rated an upgrade to fender studio pro 8. Installed now. It is up and running successfully.

Preditory? Really?

Perhaps seems like peculiar preface that this premanditory placement preexists, possibly prehistorical.

Ok I'll get my coat.
