Solved Studio One 7 and Arturia Analog Lab V plugin issue

Hello, I am hoping that I am not the only person who has experienced this. After I updated Analog Lab V to the latest version (5.11.2.2635), every time I open SO7 and scan the plug-ins, it says Failed to scan Analog Lab V and adds it to the Blocked List. I have tried everything I can think of, short of uninstalling SO7 and reinstalling it (which seems unreasonable because of a single plug-in). I have uninstalled all Arturia products and reinstalled them, I have moved the Analog Lab V file to different folders, but Studio One keeps finding it and blocking it, rendering it completely useless. Obviously, all of the songs I recorded using this plugin are now broken.

I am seeing this error in Windows Event Logs, and it looks like it's related to the issue I am having:

Faulting application name: PlugInScanner.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x68376b9a

I have opened a support ticket with Arturia, but in my previous experience with them, they take forever to get back, which is unfortunate as I really like their software and hardware (when it works).

Environment:

Studio One Version: 7.2.0.106240
Platform: Windows 11 Pro
Storage: SSD 4TB
RAM: 64GB
Graphics: NVIDIA

This may not help, but....

Assuming you mean Analog Lab Pro v5.11.2.6235 (not .2635) then I have this version loading up fine on a Mac and S1 v7.2, so they do work together and it's something about Windows or your machine, rather than some big software problem that needs resolving.

Sorry to hear.

I have Arturia Analog Lab Pro 5.11.2.6235 installed and updated to S1 7.2 yesterday.
works so far.
5.11.2.2635, did you accidentally swap the numbers?
But I am on Win10 for now.

I tried it on my Windows 11 Game System, installed S1 7.2 fresh and also Analog Lab Pro 5.11.2.6235 from the Arturia Software Center.
Works also.

I added a Screenshot of my Plugins.

Can you open the Plugin Manager?
Other plugins work from Arturia?

Maybe also contact Presonus Support with the Error Messages?
Because the Plugin Manager is new, they love to hear some problems with it :)

Not directly related, but i had a ton of random crashes with the last Nvidia drivers they released since the 5xxx series.
But now i am on the latest official 576.52 Studio Driver on Windows 10 and 576.52 Game Ready Driver on Windows 11 and looks stable so far.
Also check your SSD for errors.
And i assume you don't have any 3rd party Virus Scanners installed, and only use the Windows own Defender?
And thats it with my knowledge for now :)

Last time i contacted Arturia they at least responded after 2 days, so lets hope for the best :)

I can open Plugin Manager. Other Arturia plug-ins work fine. Only Analog Lab V has issues, which started immediately after I upgraded it. No 3rd party virus scanners. I just updated my INVIDIA driver and I have seen it cause issues in Studio One before, but that was on ver 6 and a different PC.
I guess I'll have to wait until Arturia gets back to me. Good callout on contacting Presonus, I'll do that too. Appreciate your input!

Update.

I ended up uninstalling all Arturia software from my PC, that includes MIDI Control Center, Analog Lab V and Arturia Software Center. Then reinstalling them after a reboot. And the problem went away. Analog Lab V is now showing up in my Instruments list and I can use it again to record tracks.

I hope I don't have to go through this exercise next time Arturia puts out an update.... but, I have a feeling I might.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread, much appreciated. I'll be coming back to this community in the future for sure

Glad that worked for you. I may have to try something similar with my plugin alliance plugs as ever since updating SO 6 to 7 resulted in several Bettermaker plugins being blacklisted.
