Solved Studio One 3 Pro x86

I own all versions of S1 Pro from 2-6....not going to waste my money on 7 as it basically offers nothing I'm interested in.
In fact, I've been informed that, (unlike some many other DAWS), there's been basically no change to the core program since V4.
But that's not really my issue. I'm building a small mobile recording setup to record raw live band tracks in the clubs.
The machine I'm using is a 32 bit netbook. I know it can record at least 8-trks simultaneously without breaking a sweat.
I know as I've tested it with other DAWS.

But I OWN Studio One 3 and I know darn well all, but perhaps the final release, support 32 bit machines. But for reasons unknown,
Presonus has seen fit to yank ALL 32 bit versions of S13. I BOUGHT IT....I SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE IT.

Have you reached out to support? Looks like my S1 3 in My Presonus is x64 only as well but I wonder if that's due to the fact that I was using the x64 version of Windows 7 at the time? Personally I understand why there needs to be some reasonableness in how long old software should be hosted. (S1 3 was released in 2015, S1 4 in 2018 - how much longer should S1 3 be available?) This is especially true if you never used the x32 version to begin with. (Personally I was well into x64 in Windows 7 (released in 2009) with a wrapper for x32 plugins. But support might be able to help you out(?)

Till the end of time......LOL!! I understand what you're trying to say but it takes NOTHING for a company the size of Presonus with the
resources of Fender to host a mere few hundred MB's on their servers. Both NI & Steinberg host ISO'S of programs that are MUCH bigger and MUCH older on their sites. It costs them practically nothing and it is a gesture of goodwill towards LONG TIME loyal customers. Then, of course, there's the other end of the spectrum. Companies like IK don't even host DRIVERS for current products. Buy a used IK interface lately? If it's already been registered you can NOT download the drivers and IK support........will tell you to go pee up a rope.

It also costs you nothing to grab this installer in 2015 and keep it somewhere on your network.

Rule of Thumb: Everything will eventually disappear - best to keep your stash handy - just in case.

Thanks for the snarky advice. As it happens, I do backup everything. I have an S1 Pro 2 installer and an S1 Pro 3x64
installer in my archives. I didn't download the S1 Pro3_x32 bit installer in 2015 because I didn't NEED it then.
BTW.....Windows XP x64 was released in 2005 aye?

Correct - but it was very rarely used by anyone - for anything - at the time. Most unstable version of Windows that I ever tested.

Not sure what that has to do with this.

It has everything to do with your last several statements. Yes, the original version of WinXP x64 was buggy as hell.
I remember it well. But you said I should have had the foresight to download a 32bit version of a program
that I simply did not need at the time and I that I should have backed up that same program that I did not
need. By 2015, like most people, I was well into using Win7x64, (which was released in 2009).

I have never needed a 32bit version of S1V3 till THIS WEEK so why on earth would I have downloaded it
in 2015? I don't suffer from OCD. I don't download everything there is to download just because I can.

I've downloaded the entire Internet, just in case. :ROFLMAO:
Now I just need to buy a bigger house to house all of the hard disks...
