Solved Studio 1824c S/PDIF output includes listen bus

I'm not sure if this is a hardware or a software question. There is a tc electronic Finalizer Express connected to the S/PDIF output of my 1824c. Whenever I enable the Listen Bus, and use headphone output 2 to insert room simulation, the S/PDIF output includes both the main out and the listen bus. How can I get the Listen Bus out of my S/PDIF output?

Here's a shot of the song setup:

Section 4.2.2 of the owner's manual shows how to select one of the 1824c's 4 internal mixes for the S/PDIF output. Section 4.3 mentions the mixer bypass option which also affects how things are routed. I'd start with checking those settings.

Very good! I had the mixer bypass button set to bypass.

Also, I misunderstood the S/PDIF selection in the UC device controls:

I thought that when the mixer was bypassed Main Mix meant the main output in S1. No, it's the main output of the UC mixer.

I turned off the bypass and found that I could straighten out each output's mix to get the right signals going where I wanted. Thank you. Is there some way to mark this SOLVED?

Good question. Perhaps report your own first post, asking the mods to set it to solved?

NB. An eye-opener maybe, but there is no mixer inside UC. UC only shows and lets you control the mixers and settings inside your interface. Important difference! :)

Thanks for the clarification.

If you go to the top of the thread... your original post... at the right top (desktop version) there is a [Watch] button and to the right of that is a [...v] menu; pop that open and there is [Prefix] item prior to the title of the post. In that you can mark it "Solved".

Got it. Thanks. I learn something new everyday I come here!
