SSL UF8 MIDI CC in SO7

Help to connect SSL UF8 in the MIDI CC control mode. Maybe something needs to be configured in Studio one itself? In the Midi Monitor, controller events are visible.
 
You would need to set it up as an external controller device and connect its midi ports accordingly - only then is it available

Thanks, I'm away now until Monday. I connected the second layer UF8 with the midi cc as Mackie Control, but did I need it as a New Control Surface?
