Splitter Presets?

Hi,

Do any of you guys know how to create a macro maybe that set up a splitter with a reverb and delay? I know Splitters don't have presets, thus a Macro maybe?

You can save the FX chain. Would that serve your need?

Unfortunately not. The splitter with delay and reverb usually gets added after I've sculped the sound of the synth

Not sure if you're aware what FX chains are. You can for sure add them to an existing channel later. And yes, you can use macros to do so.

That Find Command is quite handy, never knew about it. Unfortunately, when I use a macro to add FX chains, it replaces the effects that are already there. Dragging and dropping them from the Browser is the only way to get them on the correct spot without losing the other effects.

This is a good option if you look at it another way, once the instrument is installed add a couple of splitters with FX's to suit your needs or use regularly. Switch off all the FX including the splitter and save as a track preset.

Once saved load the track preset, if the FX are switched off there is minimal to no cpu overhead and the FX can be switched on when required.
You also have the option to switch on/off or move things around as needed within the individual splitters.

Best regards

Come to think of it, my instruments usually have the same basic chain (Eq, saturation, delay+reverb, ducking, volume automation).

A track preset with everything turned off would suit my needs well...

It's a useful option to have. Hope it works out OK. But to be fair Garran prompt was on the ball.
