introducing SOUL for Studio One and Fender Studio Pro.

The first AI powered DAW Copilot that builds with you. Create chords, melodies, drums on the fly instantly. "Create a happy chord progression" or "Give me a bright piano in Presence" and SOUL will do it instantly. Build on your ideas using voice commands with any mic you have connected to your computer. Ask the copilot to get an instrument track armed to record for you and press record. The possibilities are endless. Full support of all Fender/Presonus stock plugins and parameters, think "Boost 2db at 5000hz" or "Add Limiter to main output and set threshold to 0" instantly with voice or chat. Most 3rd party VST3 effects work with the parameters as well.

Full voice/chat command support with complete control of Studio One 5+ and Fender Studio Pro/Fender Studio. Theoretically handicapped/disabled people would be able to create music completely with their voice.

If interested in this I am opening a beta group to anyone who wants to test it.

Duck and cover. How ironic calling it "SOUL".

Don't get me wrong, congrats on your achievement, but I prefer having my head in the sand. AI is going to take over my job in 1 to 3 years, guess I better be celebrating, plenty of restrooms to clean when that happens, oh hang on.. the robots.

Isn't the point of doing this to create stuff yourself? If I am not needed, then no point in doing it. So not for me but thanks for the warning.....

Will I dream?

Sounds like a really interesting idea. I think AI should stay well away from the creative process but to be used as a tool to speed up mundane tasks I’m very interested. I believe Pro Tools has something like this so you can ask it to set up various channels, colour things, name things, check phase, bounce certain groups of tracks etc. Essentially like having a studio assistant. If you are planning on building these sorts of things into it then I’d be interested in testing :)

Interesting to see where this is going, as it was coming sooner rather than later anyway. Regarding creative process there's a good debate to have here too: Is it enough to be judge and jury after options are presented to you, the convenience being that AI can generate those options way faster than you would, eventually?

Think of it more like a helper with generative capabilities only if you ask for it.

Somehow I feel that this thread is a spoof. It’s a little bit late for April Fools Day buy it does fit the bill.

Remember keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. Or Adapt or Die (ask the dinosaurs aka birds). Good luck with your project, I would be a customer but not a tester, to busy. If you're not at least using the Suno, you're not seeing how the real risk is, and how you can make it work for you. You can see something as a threat or an opportunity, the choice is yours.

Actually the voice command idea appeals to me. I use it with my Windows 11 laptop for browsing, search, and other interactions. I could see selecting a track in Studio Pro and saying "insert in this order Pro EQ, Mustang Princeton amp, Pro EQ, and a send to a parallel track with Analog Delay and my Air Machine FX Chain."

Yes this is a perfect use case for this.
