Released along with Fender Studio Pro, 'Notion' is now, of course, 'Fender Notion'. One app across all platforms. And its free.

Product info here:-

Release notes for latest 3.6 here:-

Although there's a minimal 'Welcome Pack' of sounds available with the free product after registering at <my.fender.com> there are extra features and soundpacks accessible, only with a Fender Studio Pro+ subscription.

Presonus Notion 6 ceases being available for purchase, though support (via a FSPro+ subscription only) lasts until Jan2027. I believe there will be no further updates to that app.

A great overview of all this and how it fits in with the bigger 'Fender Studio ecosystem' picture, from the good people at Scoring Notes:-

I have spend some time today playing around with the Fender Notion and I must say that this is much more than expected. Everybody have been saying that Notion 6 needs an update. Well, this is it and I am pretty much happy. The fact that it now free is mind blowing. This app can do everything Notion could do and much more. The user interface is much better and intuitive. Anybody can use it without needing a manual.

The exchange of information between Fender Studio Pro and Fender Notion is much improved in my opinion. The sending data from Notion to Studio now transfer lyrics, chords, text and everything - or at least everything that I was testing out. I could load all my legacy scores from Notion without issue. It did not sound exactly the same and I had to play around getting the balance right. I can not really say it sounds better or worse, but just needed some work to sound more or less the same.

The one thing I did miss is that Fender Notion does not seem to support Vst instruments and many of my old scores used Miro philharmonic from IK multimedia or GPO etc.

When rewired died a few years ago, most other companies went the ARA bridge route, which works much better than rewire. Fender seem to have not even tried and went the send and transfer route. It work well in some ways, but is not the real sollution.

Generally, I think this app will do for me what I want.

I’m still confused! Is there a native Mac app for Fender Notion 8?

There is no Notion 8.

There's Notion 6 which is desktop only and only available as part of the subscription, and will be legacy from Jan 2027.

There's Notion which is the cross platform version. Was called Notion Mobile for a while and is now Fender Notion.

Thank you, that’s cleared that up for me.

It's super confusing, logging into "my.fender.com" my registered copy is called "Notion Mobile" on the download page, I guess they haven't updated it. Regardless this clears things up thanks, it's actually "Fender Notion".

Now I have a copy of "Presonus Notion" (6.8.2) and "Fender Notion" via Windows store installed.

Now I'm logged into this "Fender Notion" with My Fender Pro 8 license, and I notice I have to buy a "feature bundle" for it.
But I feel I should already have this with my existing Notion 6/ Studio Pro 8 license?

Also I don't see any of the example and templates I had like "Awakening Notions", "Looners Spheric". In windows I wonder where the demo folder is.
EDIT - OK click the PLUS icon and there is a "demos" tab.

Maybe I expect too much?

I've had Notion 6 forever, with all sound add-ons. Launching Fender Notion and going to Sound Installation I set 4 Sounds with 'Get' instead of 'Installed'

I clicked 'Get' on one of them and was asked to sign in/register. Once that was done, going back to Sound Installation shows all Sounds installed and ready to go.

So.... "Fender Notion" is only available (for Windows people) at the Microsoft Store? I see it there by name and release date of 1/23/2026 whereas the one on the my.fender.com > My Gear > Notion Software page just shows "Notion Mobile" with release date of 3/20/2023 (as well as the original Notion 6).
This is the confusion of which you speak, no? It is confusing....
SO, is it safe to say that now this Fender Notion is a replacement of Notion 6?

Available for Mac on the MacOS App Store, as Fender Notion, but not in my.fender.com
