Slice at Transient

Can Studio One handle slice at transient like Logic Pro? I record live instruments and I want a faster way to cut the beginning before the transient. I know you can tab to transient and use the cutting tool but was wondering if Studio One had a one button option like Logic Pro.

There is "Cut At Cursor" macro after using Tab To Transient. I have it at shift$ but you can assign to a single key. Is that
what you are after?

Welcome to the Forum!

You can include tab to transient along with "Cut to Cursor" (as @tpittman suggested).

Attached is a macro to do what you're asking...

Assign it to a button on a macropage or keyboard shortcut.

An then you have to hope that the first tab is always the right tab...;)

NB. I prefer (a shortcut for) Trim Start to Cursor over Split followed by Delete. Quicker that way.

Yes, "Trim Start to Cursor" is more efficient and for a "one button solution", the OP still needs to hope that the first tab is the right one.

Here's the macro using "Trim Start to Cursor" instead of "Cut to Cursor"...
