Hi,
I'm curious if there this type of function can be implemented in FSP-8 if it not possible to accomplish it at this time, or maybe via a Custom Macro Command ?
Basically, what I would like to do is, i.e. I write a Chordal passage using a Piano on one track, but now I have 5 other tracks that house my Strings Orchestra, Track 1 = Vlns1, Track 2 = Vlns2, Track 3 = Vlas, Track 4 = Celli, Track 5 Double Basses.
So, the function will analyse the notes in the chord, and assign the highest pitch note to Vlns1, then go down in the pitch and assign the next highest pitch to Vls2, ...etc. Then Celli, ... etc. Maybe it could have a logic built into it, to assign the D-Basses to the same note of the Celli, but transpose them down an Octave, .. and maybe another logical option for assigning Vls2, vs Vlas. basically, it is a (Note-Distribution) function that copies the Piano notes to Strings tracks based on specific logic. i.e. a 3 note chord vs 4 note vs 5 note chords.
This is usually done manually via copy-pasting, so I was curious if a tool that can speed the workflow, and do good job at distributing the notes to the various string sections would be possible to implement in FSP-8 currently, or maybe via a special tool that can be developed by the Fender Studio Pro Development Team and offered as a special feature in a future update.
I think this would be a very attractive feature, and an additional selling point for FSP-8.
Thanks,
