Hi. Question.
- I'm running Studio One 7.2.3 on an M2 Pro Mac mini. I have a dedicated sample computer. The sample computer is set up as a external nstrument in S1. I am sending from Studio One to a MioXL midi interface. From that interface it is going out over five pin to a Motu Express XT. Data reliably gets there and plays back in Studio One on the Mac Mini. I run synths and strings and all sorts of stuff just fine. We are good.
-I am mixing a session for a client. In that session, which came from logic, there are exported midi tracks. Those tracks have sustain pedal data. The sustain pedal data is not sending from Studio One. CC64 does not appear in the MIDI monitor in Studio One, in MIDI Monitor app, on either computer. I see it in the bottom area in the editor. I have tried manually creating automation lanes but it doesn't seem to send.
- As a test to ensure that the interfaces aren't filtering it, I opened Logic and the sample computer reliably received Sustain Pedal data. I also opened Studio One on the Mac Pro and played the midi tracks in a new session on that computer. Everything worked as expected.
I'm sure I'm doing something incredibly stupid, but I can't seem to find it. Any hints on how to send sustain data?
