Running Berlin Studio from Samplicity in FSP 8

Hey there,

Anyone here running Berlin Studio from Samplicity in FSP 8? I was tryna test it out, but it just won’t show up in my effects list.

The Plugin Scanner says it’ll update after restarting Studio Pro, but after I restart, it just disappears from the list. And when I rescan, I get the same message again… kinda stuck in a loop 😅

Anybody had any luck getting this plugin to work in FSP?

Have you done this?

"You need an iLok account and have the iLok License Manager installed in order to use our plugins"

No concept of using this - without getting an iLok account setup first

Yep, I’ve already done that. I’ve got an iLok account set up, the License Manager installed, and the license is showing up correctly there. So that part should be fine.

It seems more like FSP isn’t properly detecting the plugin during the scan. I’m still running into that loop where it asks for a restart, then disappears, and shows the same message again after rescanning. I also haven’t seen this “Some plug-ins will be updated” message with any other plugin except Berlin Studio and Opus (East West).

Thanks for checking 👍

I realise this might be a dumb question, have you authorised the license in ilok manager itself ?
I'm asking just for clarity as you say it's showing up, but have you activated it ...

If it is a dumb question just carry on and ignore the above.

Regards folks.

Good one - iLok can be confusing and just because the license appears in the manager - does not necessarily mean it's doing anything (yet).

The license must appear like this:

To be usable.
