Here is a bit more context from my previous post. Any advice on #3 Audio Output below would be greatly appreciated.
I would rather use my Fender studio pro 8 with TX16Wx for this process instead of going back and forth between Reaper and Studio.
the TX16WX sampler's MIDI-generator auto-sampling works well , but it requires specific routing configurations to function properly, as it does not inherently "talk" to the DAW automatically.
automated sampling workflow can be efficient for building multi sampled instruments.
Why It May Not Work in Studio One Pro
While the search results did not highlight a specific failure of the TX16WX auto-sampling feature in Studio One, it did highlight a common issue: Studio One often struggles with MIDI connections/routing between plugins over several versions.
If Studio One is not working, ensure:

If Studio One is not working, ensure:
- Monitor button is turned on for the track.
- MIDI Input is set to "All Inputs".
- Audio output of the instrument being sampled is properly routed to the TX16WX input, which is harder to configure in Studio One compared to Reaper's open matrix.
Summary of Performance
- Reaper: Excellent, with the right setup.
- Studio One: Potentially problematic due to routing limitations or MIDI feedback restrictions.
