It happend only once to me, but a couple of years ago I had screwed a mix of a song so badly that I indeed did a full reset of all mixer channels: back to 0db, center pan, all plugins removed. But of course I kept all the recordings and midi tracks. Then I started my mix again.Would it not be easier to start a new song with a template? Or am I missing something?
I'd love to do this for mixing to different formats. Being able to reset your panning quickly for easily hopping to a mono mix after a stereo mix approval, being able to bypass your sends to deliver a dry only mix, quickly removing all plugins / inserts if jumping from a digital to analog destination after a mix approval. I'd use it every day.Would it not be easier to start a new song with a template? Or am I missing something?
