Solved Quick start desktop icon

Hello all,

Like most of us, I appreciate when I can quicky set up a new project, and for that of course I use templates.
But I woul appreciate loading those templates directly from a desktop icon: meaning that instead of having a single shortcut on my desktop screen to open FSP and THEN opening a template, I would rather have as many icons on my desktop as templates, and fire up the template as simple as cliking the icon.
Has anyone achieved this ? How ?

I suppose you're on Windows (we kindly ask to add your specs to signature if you post in the "Community Support" forum).

Right-click your template (or FSP session), choose Create shortcut, and then move that shortcut to your desktop. Double-clicking it will open the Session directly in Studio One.

That’s basically all there is to it - you can create one desktop shortcut for each session/template you want quick access to.

Strange, it doesn't work. All it does when clicking the shortcut, is to open the FSP default page with files, sessions etc... from there I still have to manually click until I open template.

Then I would try to save the template as a session file and open this with FSP. You can then choose "Save to New Folder" to make it a new independent session.
