Something that's been a thorn in my side since I started using the Project Page back in v6 or so....maybe even 5...don't remember when I started using it.
So, I create a project. I get my song ready to go into the project. I save the song. I send the song to my project. Then I decide to do something that DOES NOT affect the actual song in any way. (Like close the mixer window, or close a plug in window). Then I save the session again so that next time I open it, it opens with just what I want on the screen...but then the project page gets this icon on it that says I must update the Master File...when I made no changes that would affect that mixdown. WHY does it do that? Is this a behavior that can be bypassed somehow without it complaining? Or do I just need to remember to get my session looking aesthetically the way I want it to look before sending a mixdown to the project? Like...if there was an option to right click and say "Ignore changes"...that would be amazing.
