Question? Now that Fender has bought Sonar One?

Hmmm haven't started up Rapture Pro (which is basically Dimension and Rapture hybrid) for a long time, wonder if it still works in FPro. Guess that's next weeks fun.

As far as I know it was only back in 8.5 Producer that the Cakewalk synths were all available as VST instruments and could be scanned and found by other DAW's. I have got Studio One V2 on that same machine and yes it does still load up Rapture and all the other synths too. But the only way I can get to use it is use Studio One V2 as a host on that same XP machine and then I just send that computer midi from my main Mac Studio and it plays well. Dimension Pro had some really great libraries. There were some great Rapture bank releases also at the time.

Yup it certainly worked before on Studio One.

I haven't used Rapture Pro in Studio Pro yet....but I used it often in Studio One 7. I haven't had much need for Rapture Pro any longer though...I bought Falcon, and also have a sub to Roland's Zenology.

Assuming this is a one time operation.

May want to use MIDI-OX for that, I think you can use a batch file and make it a one click operation to send sysex. You can use another batch file to execute this and studio one afterwards.

Thanks, but it's only a double click and a single click to use CW to send out multiple sysex files. Had it set up for many years. I also have MIDI-0OX. It looks very useful, but my needs are simple.

Besides, it looks like I will be migrating toward samples and audio effects, especially with FSP8 and its capabilities.

To answer your question, I still have Rapture Pro on my Steam account and it still works on my Windows machine with Studio Pro.
