Problem with the full cooperation (configuration) of Studio One and Hydrasynth Deluxe.

I'm trying to record MIDI using a synthesizer with polyAT - Hydrasynth Deluxe, and I'm running into what seems to be a configuration problem.
This synthesizer, in addition to polyAT, has the ability to play in multi mode, i.e. presets consisting of 2 layers (lower and upper) appropriately superimposed. It has separate audio outputs for both timbres.
The problem is that Studio One midi doesn't seem to register everything, because when I play on the Hydrasynth keys the audio signal comes out of both outputs. And when I play back what I recorded with the S1 it only plays one output for the bottom timbre and no top timbre.
In the musical notation it looks like there are sections for both timbres. However, playback is already only for one. At the same time, in MIDI Monitor I can see that when recording as well as playing back, communication is happening on multiple midi channels simultaneously. Except that these are different channels when playing and different when recording. (When playing back some channels are missing?).
The question is what am I doing wrong? Do you have any ideas?

Had a tinker on the Hydrasynth a while ago and still have the pdf manual, does the info on pg 108 in the manual give any advice?
It may be the Tx and Rx System settings need adjusting.

I didn't own the Synth and it's just a guess, but I remember reading about those settings and it might be what you are experiencing.
Hope this is of use.

best regards

Thank you for guiding ... However, the default HS configuration is not quite intuitive.
I tested the HS settings in the MIDI TxRx a bit and I don't quite understand. I set Global Tx and Rx to channel 2, Lo Tx and Rx to channel 3 and Up Tx and Rx to channel 4.
I have MPE turned on as a result playing and recording I hear both layers, but I can hear one.
After switching off MPE, I hear both layers both when recording and playback.
The question is, what about this MPE and the connection with Studio One? What are the real bonuses and whether it is worth turning them on. If so, in what situation.
My observations show that either S1 cannot cope with MPE with HS or I am not fully configured S1 or/and HS.

Is it a case of layer vis a vis split. Not having the KBoard here I can only sumize, seperate channels Lo/Hi for a split, Omni for a layer/stacked sound.

What is the outcome of the Omni setting... is that a layer/stack Mpe setting for Tx and Rx of just a MPE single keyboard type patch use?

Are the Lo/Hi seperate Midi channels for the KBoard split, if that is a Tx setting does Omni Rx allow Mpe received for both sides of the split.
I must point out I never tested any of this, I'm just trying to work the logic from the manual, as I imagine it would be.
When I work at stuff like this I tend to draw logic pictures it helps me to visualize outcomes, but not having the synth available to test I'm flying blind.

To be honest, it might be worth firing off an email to Ashun Sounds, I approached them over the Hydrasynth Librarian and they were really helpfull.
However, if you want to carry on discussing this fire away, I'm happy to help if talking it through helps.

As to SO1 coping that K/Board is a cutting edge piece of kit in the Midi domain.

Best regards
