The new Marker Tracks feature lets you create more marker tracks in the arrangement view, which you can use for whatever you want.
The Pro Navigator Track Markers feature creates a marker directly on a clip in a specific track. This is super useful to me. For example, if you want to fade the start of your Bass track later in your production process, but not right away, you can create a Track Marker directly on the Bass clip and name it "Fade In" so you can get back to it later.
Not only can you create Track Markers, but you can navigate them backwards and forwards. You can also pull up a list of all Track Markers you've created and navigate to them by clicking.
You can use Marker Tracks for leaving notes specific to tracks and clips throughout your arrangement, but personally I prefer to use Markers to point out sections in my project and use Track Markers for all the little things I need to work on through my project that I don't want to forget.
