Not completely. Navigation Essentials is kind of like a free demo for my add-ons. It includes some features from Scoring Tools and a few from Pro Navigator (only 3-4), but it also has some features that aren't included in any of the paid add-ons, like adding MIDI CCs or extending/shortening MIDI notes. (It doesn't include any features from Harmony Wizard, though).

I'll add a comparison table to the website after taking a few days off After releasing three paid add-ons and one freebie, I can see the need for a clear overview of all the different features across the products.

Yes - you can use the [name] and [num] variables. This is also useful if you want the sequential numbers somewhere in the middle of the text.

Purchased, and the first thing I did was set up Color Wizard rules. Used to do this with Color Toolbar, but Pro Navigator is much more elegant!

I noticed the default rules added a HiHat icon to the toms... Easily fixed, but perhaps an easy fix for a future update...
Surprisingly, a lot of colours from the default rules matched my colour preference by the way...

I can't see that here. Can you elaborate? Which default rule is triggered for you that has a wrong icon?

I think I figured it out.. The High Hat rule was above the Toms rule, but the tracks I got send labeled a tom 'High Tom'.
Sorry to cause confusion. I struggled a bit with the rules order.. I must have accidentally witched the Icon attached to the rule...

You can use the "Test" button in the Rules window. I made it exactly for cases like this where you want to test if you're rules are working correctly.

With respect to the Color Wizard - am I to assume that it is only referencing the current color palette that is loaded into FSP at any given time?

What happens to my cool custom work if I spend 15 minutes messing around in Color Wizard - using this palette - and then two weeks later - suddenly change the master color palette in FSP - to something else down the road.

When I reopen Color Wizard - is all my former stuff lost? Do I need to start over again?

You mean the Auto-Color Rules? Once set (using the current FSP color palette), these colors are saved independently. So colors set for the rules don't depend on the FSP color palette anymore. The palette is only used when you open the color picker to edit or add a new color for a rule.

No - what I mean is - when I open an empty session, add Pro Nav as the main macro - and fire up Color Wizard - and then click on the first color swatch:

I am instantly placed inside the one (and only one) palette that FSP recognizes as the currently loaded palette:

I do not see anywhere - in Color Wizard - to load any of the other 15 palettes I see listed under the actual Color Picker area above

And - based on your answer - I understand that whatever I do IN Color Wizard - whether I choose 12 swatches or 112 - entire "config "
is unique to Color Wizard and will never appear anywhere else - BUT Color Wizard?

While I get the whole "rules" angle - this also tells me that this color palette that I build - rules or no rules - will require Pro Nav for use?

And what happens in a DAW rebuild situation - I see there is an Export function. Assuming that once I get my dream palette built - it is wise to Export that out - and be able to import it back in - as needed?

just bought it this morning ! some handy stuff in this package , i'm not gonna use it all , but the auto coloring and some other thing are timesavers ! .. what does just cross my mind , is that with the option with that menu with favorite instruments " vsts" isn't it posible to make that only than with Favorite FX plugins ?
