Prevent console from following track selection?

Hey guys, is this possible?

I'm just realizing after a long time this behavior kind of annoys me, every time I select and edit tracks in the arrangement window the console loses its previous position and flies to the arrangement track output channel. When you have 200 channels this becomes a workflow-killer.

Can't remember if there was a setting for this or not...

Yes, track/channel selection is fixed and cannot be bypassed.

Thanks Luke, couldn't quite recall.
Do you not find this to be cumbersome in large projects with high channel counts?

Would certainly be a nice toggle option!

Might make it a FR on the community answers, unless one already exists that I should vote for
