Possible bug with Separate Stems and more than one event?

Could somebody try this out. Should not take long.

STEPS

New song.
Add an audio event (music clip of about a minute or something, doesn't matter that much)
After that event, add another audio event on the same audio track, give it a gap of a fews seconds or so inbetween events).
Select both events by clicking on them with shift.
Right click -> Separate Stems
Click OK.
Observe it takes two steps to process.

EXPECTED.

Audio created for both events in a folder (4 tracks)

ACTUAL

Audio for just one event (4 tracks).

Please validate (I'm using Windows and 8.0.1)

Thanks!

Can repro on 8.0.2, I tried something different here.

I bunged a bit of Motorhead followed by a bit of Bowie on the same single track following each other with a slight gap, selected both events and did Separate Stems for all instruments (follow procedure as above).... this is what I got:

Can anybody repo? (see my first post too).
Thanks

Mine works just fine....

What I would suggest until a fix does in...place your two events down, join them by extending one into the other, right clicking and then "merge". You can then split them later, after you split the stems, but at least you'll have them.
