Possible 64bit project file bug

Studio One 7.2.2: I noticed my project files are 64 bit even though the song settings are set to "32 FP" for files, is this by design? I do have 64bit precision in the audio settings however I did not think it was related to the file bit-rate. Can someone just check if this is happening to them as well and if it is confirm this is by design?

A project file does not have any bits. So it can not be 64bit. It's just a data file format.
Please show exactly the part in your software where you are looking at.

Thanks
Ari

Do you mean that your audio clips are 64bit? Maybe you have bounced them (which creates new clips in the format that's set under Process Precision in the Audio Setup). Or you imported the audio files. Or you recorded with the Song Setup settings and changed the settings afterwards.

So bounced audio will always be the same as whatever is set in the audio precision setup, is this documented? It makes sense actually however for some reason I thought it kept the file whatever is set in the project file settings. Do you know if Studio One dithers exports of these bounced files when exporting to 32 bit? Thanks for the reply.
