Plugins running in Fender Pro and too small...smaller than in Studio One 8

Fender Studio Pro, Studio Pro, Fender Studio Pro 8, Studio Pro 8.

No one knows what this thing is called.

Not so. Its name is 'Fender Studio Pro version 8'. Not at all difficult to grasp, and rather shorter than PreSonus Studio One Pro version 7'. Just as PreSonus Studio One Pro version x was regularly shortened to 'Studio One' or 'S1vX', Fender Studio Pro version x is generally shortened to 'Studio Pro' or 'SP8'. Got it now?

LOL. It's one whole syllable shorter, but not "rather shorter"...and nobody includes "version" when saying the name. Just the number! But your point stands...it is shorter...but more importantly, you are correct, it is NOT hard to grasp. Studio Pro 8 is much easier (and normal) to say in a verbal conversation, SP8 is much easier (and normal) to type in a post where people would be familiar with the topic.

I think people just struggle to call a daw "Studio Pro". Probably too generic. Over time it might become more familiar though.

If anything, I feel 'Studio Pro' is at least a little less pretentious than 'Studio One'...

Why is it pretentious? Because of Abbey Road or something?

I don't think Studio One was a great name. But Studio Pro just seems very generic. It's also terrible for google search.

Fender Studio Pro, Studio Pro, Fender Studio Pro 8, Studio Pro 8.
In my experience, the main problem for most people commenting on social media is the distinction between Studio One, Fender Studio and (Fender) Studio Pro.

Fender Studio is a mobile app for recording (no MIDI, no third-party plug-ins) that runs on tablets, smartphones, Chromebooks and desktop systems (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux).

Fender Studio Pro 8 is the successor to Studio One Pro 7.

Fender’s new YouTube/Instagram channel is called Fender Studio, but it primarily focuses on Fender Studio Pro. The product pages on Fender’s websites also tend to mix up the two programs, so for new users or people who haven’t followed the recent developments, it’s hard to grasp what is what. In addition, the tendency on social media to express things very briefly and carelessly leads to many misunderstandings.

The only issue with Studio One's name, in my opinion was that it was on version 7. Studio One 7 sounds weird. Studio Pro 8 sounds normal. Is it generic? Yeah. When you have things like Cubase, Reaper, Bitwig Studio out there that have "unique sounding" names (though I think Reaper is a TERRIBLE name for a studio software...to me, I'd never guess it was a DAW, but would think it was a game or something...).

So in that sense, yes, it might sound Generic. Kind like Pro Tools sounds generic. You know...that other piece of software out there that somehow managed to be considered "the Standard of Studio Software" by industry professionals? I've tried PT. Wasn't for me. My Sweetwater rep told me that he'd be surprised if Studio One (back when it was version 3 was JUST released) didn't become the next contender for becoming the "new standard." And guess what....I don't think he was that far off. I personally know a number of studios that switched from PT to S1.

But then I guess you also have Fruity Loops (which I get why they renamed it to FL Studio)....which makes it sound "kiddie." Glad that Fender changed the name to Studio Pro. Still keeps that more "professional vibe" with a name that actually implies what it does without making someone have to guess....

@Midiboy
I apologized profusely. The matter was settled and closed. And now here you are ranting at me for ranting.
Thanks for the hypocrisy!! LMFAO!!:ROFLMAO:
HA. Sorry about that. I replied before reading the rest. I apologize profusely as well, sir.
