Plugin Manager

I'm a pro member since many years and love it.
I have a wish for next Studio Pro update.
I want an plugin manager please.
I want to see every installed plugin and see if it's the newest version. So that I always see what to update.

And the killer feature would be a KI which can program functions and plugins I need.

A other cool feature would be that I can make on 1 monitor I can see in the left half screen the mixer and right the event view.

Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum.

We really do our best to make it clear to everyone that this is an independent, user-driven forum and NOT affiliated with Fender or PreSonus.

Every new member is explicitly shown this notice:

Yet we keep getting posts addressed to Fender, feature requests for future updates, and suggestions as if this were an official support forum. I'm honestly not sure how we could make this any clearer.

If anyone has an idea how to make this notice even harder to miss, I'm all ears :-)

Lukas, you might start by hiding your thread on asking for comments on the thread asking for input on features. I know its closed, but it can appear as if there may be an implied connection between your efforts here and what can be added on as a third party addition to SO/SP.

Many new visitors can be confused by the distinction between the two...its just a thought

What we should really have is a very obvious (and permanently pinned) topic either at the top of the Community Support area OR (even better) inserted at the top of the actual Home page - right above the actual forum group entry points:

All Forum Users - Please Read: How to Report A Technical Support Issue or Log a Feature Request:

IMPORTANT : This is a user to user peer forum and is NOT affiliated with Fender Musical Instruments or Presonus Electronics in any way. Etc etc.

1. To report a Technical Issue....

(insert steps to do this here)

2. To create a Feature Request...

(insert steps to do this here)

Gathering all this valuable info into a central (and linkable thread) - could easily be added to anyone's signature and make for a very easy redirect when responding to a user (new or established).

This way - there is no confusion or misconceptions of what this forum is and what it is not.

I think part of the problem is that Fender's own community forum isn't particularly appealing to many users.
For example, to participate, you have to make your profile public, which also displays your first and last name. There's no option to use a nickname or stage name instead, which may discourage some people from participating.
On top of that, the forum itself isn't particularly intuitive to navigate. Personally, I find traditional forum layouts, like this one based on the Ultimate Bulletin Board style, much easier to use and follow.
So when people search Google for a Studio One or Fender Studio Pro forum, they eventually end up here. And because this forum looks and functions like a traditional support community, they may naturally assume it's the official one.
Ironically, Fender's own community platform may actually be contributing to the confusion, simply because this independent forum feels more familiar, accessible, and professional.

I want an plugin manager please.
There IS a Plugin Manager which shoes every Plugin and installed types (Vst2/3, Clap etc.), plus the exact version of every Plugin.

You can also export this if you like and throw it into an AI of your choice to check which need to be updated.
