Perpetual License Weirdness

So, I decided to bite the bullet while it was still on sale for Black Friday and save $45.

The My.Presonus website says my license is valid until Dec 1, 2026, which is what I would have expected.

HOWEVER, when I open Studio One and go to About Studio, it says I'm valid until 25.10.2026.

Any thoughts on why these two dates are different? If I recall, I bought that original license on 10.25.2024. The updates "expired" on that same date in 2025.
Does it have something to do with that?

This is confusing.

The first date was *probably* a year based on purchase date of the new license. Looks like it is actually extending based on your prior date, which is what I would expect

iirc the date shown in Studio One is more like a "I'll have to check the licence server before this date" note, not really an actual expiry date. I can't find the reference to this, but it was mentioned in another thread but someone who got it as an answer from support. Well, not much of a good credential is it? But I'd say the my PreSonus' date should be taken as the right one.

I would check this with Support, as new purchases are intended to stack on already-existing licenses, and it may not have properly picked up that you had a 5-week gap between the expiry of your old licence and the start of a new one.
