PC Upgrade

Hi everyone, I'm moving to a new computer soon and installing both Studio One Pro 7 and Fender Studio Pro 8.
I'll also reinstall all the plugins used in the projects.
If I copy all the folders on the hard drive where my Studio One 7 projects are stored and reinstall them on the new computer, will I find all the media included in the projects?
I just need to set the project folders in the preferences, right?
Thanks in advance

It depends on your housekeeping. If you get all the files in the pool to copy over to the media folder by habit, your statement would be true. If you also pull in files from other locations, things may go wrong..

FYI - I had to write a comprehensive backup routine to ensure a move from one DAW to another occurred without incident.

Yes - copying song folders is easy and will work - as long as you are ready to spend lots of time getting your newly installed copy of S1/SP8 back to the way you like to work with it

There are literally hundreds of settings to backup and restore - if - you are like me and want your new install to be identical to the prior install.
