Noise Identification and Removal

I often struggle to remove different types of noise from my bass guitar recordings and from stems I receive from others when I’m using the standard tools in Fender Studio Pro. I know about Strip Silence, but it can sometimes chop off the sustain or release of notes I want to keep. Likewise, I usually apply low- and high-cut filters with ProEQ, but some noise often remains anyway. No mics are involved, digital interfaces are used exclusively.

Some examples are 60Hz hum, hiss, crackles, pops, random noise, radio pickup (RFI/EMI), crosstalk from interfaces/cables, etc.

Can someone point me to (at least) a partially comprehensive guide (ideally FSP-based) to identifying and reducing various kinds of digital noise and artifacts in bass audio while preserving the musical content (attack, sustain, release, and groove)?

If no FSP-based guide is available, then a guide that isn't focused on a single tool would be useful.

I was using Isotope RX11 Advanced and then last year SwitchBack suggested removing hiss using stem separation and it really did the trick. Still use RX11, but only after I mess around with stem separation.
