No Channel Fader in the Inspector in one project only

What could cause this?
I have a project with tracks and their respective Console channels but no Channel Fader shows in the Inspector despite turning it "on". I don't have this issue in other projects. Everything plays correctly.

What do I look for in this project to find what is causing this?

The videos show what I'm talking about with a comparison of normal ("GOOD") and the problematic project behavior ("BAD")

Looks odd. Can you send me the session file via PM?
Thanks Lukas. I did message you with link. Although I gave up and rebuilt the project and copied content over. But it would be good to know what's going on. It's ONLY on this project that this occurred.

I had the same issue in two Sessions, I described it in this thread:

I sent my problematic Session file in to Lukas to be passed on the Development, so maybe something will come of it to root out the bug...

Exactly the same problem here. Happens only to instrument tracks, audio tracks work fine. Dunno what's causing it or how to fix it apart from importing session data into new project.

Just a wild guess: may it have to do something with a detached mixer window?

I have ONLY seen it once in that problematic Session and got it to go away from "simply" rebuilding that session, for what it's worth. And I used detached Mixer all the time, as well as detached everything-else-windows as I use multiple monitors, but still haven't been able to replicate the problem again.

I think, I can replicate it now :)

I have a template, based on the "Record And Mix" Template. What I changed is the following:

1. Hide the Inspector
2. Detach the browser and move it to my second screen
3. Detach the mixer and move it to my second screen
4. Change some settings in the metronome/precount section

Now my test:
1. Create a new session based on this template
2. drag two instruments from the browser to the tracklist
3. open the inspector

Now there is no channel strip. When trying to make the channel strip visible, you get a blank area, but cannot make the channel strip show up again.

@Lukas may I send you my template via PM?

Edit: the template was created with Version 7 (latest update), I just created a new template with the same settings and this works fine.
