I like it, especially the transition at 0:41, and how the bass moves up. Don't be afraid to mix the voice higher! I'm old school about vocals - I think they're the most important part of a song. You have a distinctive voice, I'd recommend taking advantage of it.
 
I really like this! It's the kind of song you hear at the end of some episodes of drama series, where you see sxcenes showing different people in very different situations, the drama of one and the happiness of another. Unlike Craig i think the vocals don't need to be louder, but it's really a matter of taste more than anything. To me it sounds right because the voice has the character of a whisper and should therefore not be too much on top of it all. But I agree that you have a special voice, in a good way
