New PC. Storing Data

Hi @ all.
I’m happy to have finally gotten myself a new PC. (clean install of all hard work, but necessary).
Is it safe to store all my settings, songs, etc., on the drive "D" (SSD)? I believe that can be easily adjusted in the options.
I would like to store as little as possible on drive "C".
Would there be any issues when reading the data from "D"?

Hi Dirk,

Congratulations on your new PC!
There should be no problem storing your songs and sound libraries on drive D:.
I do something similar myself. My song projects are stored on a separate drive P: , while the main software is installed on C:.
I would especially recommend keeping large sound libraries on a separate SSD, as they can take up quite a lot of space over time.
Just make sure you configure the correct locations in Fender Studio and in the individual instruments or library managers.
As long as the drive is available and the paths are correct, reading the data from D: should work just fine.

Thanks a lot for your reply.
Yes, I’ll take your advice and store all the relevant data on drive D—that was my own thought as well. It’s good to know that the data can be read quickly enough from there. Naturally, I’ll make sure to assign the folder(s) accordingly within FSP.

I’ll continue working on the setup next weekend, and I’m hoping everything goes smoothly.
