Solved Mix opens when enabling metronome

Hello everyone!
Whenever I enable the metronome, the mixing console always opens. Is this intended? And is this configurable in any way? It gets in the way when I'm recording and not mixing anything yet. I know it's just an extra click, but it feels unnecessary...

This happens both when I press C on the keyboard or click on the icon on the transport bar.

I've also tried creating a new blank session without using any template and it still occurs.

Thank you, I just updated my signature.
Seeing that it only happened to me made me think about what I could have that's different. I have written a custom device for my Novation Launchkey MIDI controller, I tried removing it and the issue no longer occurs. Looks like that's what is causing my issue.

Thanks for trying to repro, that ended up being very helpful!

EDIT: confirmed, I commented some code out and this stopped happening. My issue's been resolved.
