Who? We don't include anything, we're just forum membersPLEASE, include a midi event list editor in the next update!! I am lost without it!!
I do appreciate your response and I apologize for both sounding a little terse and posting in possibly the wrong place but I was so frustrated at the time,I just reached out to anyone and anywhere! No problem - it's just that this is a users' mutual support forum, and not a manufacturer's support forum. There are (at least openly) no devs here, but @Lukas has significant connections at Fender and he's the resident deep expert, so he may have something more to say. But there's no Midi list editor probably because the program is based almost entirely on a visual drag-and-drop workflow. I believe it's been requested a few times, but without any joy!
I don't use midi much however, way back when I had Cubase 5 it had the List Editor. The few times I usedI understand that. However, to be honest, "I'm just accustomed to" is not the best argument when it comes to feature implementations or differences between software in general.
I'm not saying a list editor doesn't make sense. I'm just collecting arguments and real-life use case because.... because I always do that![]()
One of the best uses of the forum is to request information about how to do stuff that was second nature in another DAW. You'll often find that Studio One/Pro has a different but equally fast way of doing that thing (sometime a lot faster and, inevitably, sometimes not at all!). These days, almost all DAWs do almost everything you can think of, but most also have the odd missing feature or workflow that makes no sense until you discover they have a completely different way of achieving what you're trying to do. There are no stupid questions - and I learn every time someone asks something!Hi, Lukas!
I'm just accustomed to clicking on event list and BAM! I can see very plainly in front of me and scroll thru to find any events that are causing me problems!
I just need to adjust more to the drag and drop techniques when it comes to midi in FSP! THANKS!
