MIDI Issue

Hi everyone, I’m having some trouble with MIDI. I use Studio One (version 8) and am trying to record the signal from my external synthesizer (Access Virus). Everything was working perfectly until an update—though I’m not sure if it was version 8.02 or 8.1. I suspect the issue has to do with timecode, because when recording audio from the MIDI track, the recorded material doesn't align with the track's tempo. The recorded audio appears earlier than the MIDI note; I have to cut it and shift it to the right.
The problem lies with Studio One, as I tried recording in another DAW and everything worked correctly using the same settings.

Has anyone experienced something similar or know what the problem might be?

This has nothing to do with timecode but with the delay compensation. The latest 8.1.1 version did fix a few issues that happened in this area before. Do you maybe have set some manual delay to compensate the missing delay compensation in version 8.0.x ... and now this leads to this problem as the delay compensation works now?

I haven't done anything with delay compensation—ever.

Okay ... have you set the record offset of your audio interface?

And how do you record the audio input of your external synth? Using an audio track or using a linked AUX channel?
