MIDI Import errors

I appreciate Notion is no longer under development for PC/Mac, but it is included in the paid-for Plus subscription and thus you would have hoped that there would be some support for it - but apparently not! However, as I have it I decided I'd give it a go before I decamp to Dorico 6 (which I have on trial) or Musescore 4 (which I'm reluctant to do because of the scammy behaviour by the parent company). I'd like to give it a fair shot, but I can't find the answers to the issues I've discovered with my very first Midi import. Perhaps the community can help.

My interest is in providing scores for my community choir, with arrangements being done by another member. This piece is just an experiment at this stage, and I don't need a side discussion about copyright!

I've recorded the arranger's parts in Studio One and converted the audio to midi. The song has the correct time and key signatures in Studio One (3/4 and B), but the Midi import to Notion has it in 4/4 and C. Changing the time and key signatures in Notion setup does not change the generated score. Why not? Have I missed something?

After time and key signature adjusted - note bars are still displaying notation in 4/4 and the key signature has been ignored

Comparative import from the same Midi file into Dorico Elements 6 with no editing.

I'd recommend submitting a Support Ticket (see link in my signature) with these questions.
They can help identify the future status of Notion development and support.

Two questions:

Why are you exporting a MIDI file instead of using Send to Notion?
Does doing the above make any difference?

Just a stray thought as I don't use Notion myself, but if you setup the signatures before importing in Notion, does that result in a correct score?

I can't remember! I don't use Notion any more and haven't since that post (it was 5 months ago!) - I only use Dorico 6 now.
